Our Sensitive Lands Program encompasses our philosophy that good stewardship is good business. This program aims to protect environmentally sensitive lands that we sometimes acquire with large timberland acquisitions. To date, more than 300,000 acres have been preserved. Sensitive lands sales also help to protect our social license to operate by fostering a business culture that gives us the operational flexibility to be successful. These sales command fair-market value as would a traditional land acquisition or disposition. Through outright land sales we are able to generate additional income for our investors.
