Charles Amalfi, Chief Financial Officer, Hancock Natural Resource Group Australia, oversees the firms investments in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this role, he managed the investment entity Hancock Victorian Plantations Pty Limited for over seven years. Before joining HNRGA, Charlie was with Burns Philp & Company Limited and in Taxation and Business Services with Grant Thornton. Katie F. AmRhein, Portfolio Manager, is responsible for account management and client relations for individually managed accounts and pooled accounts at the Hancock Timber Resource Group. In this role, she evaluates portfolio performance, acquisition and disposition opportunities, and develops and implements investment strategies. Prior to joining HTRG, Katie was Business Development Manager with Rayonier's International Forest Products team where she was involved in evaluating and initiating development of new business in the major international timber-producing regions. Mary Ellen Aronow, CF, Senior Forest Economist, is responsible for performing economic research to support the business and forestry investment decisions of the Hancock Timber Resource Group. Mary Ellen has experience in industrial forest management, timberland investment and forest products marketing, with special interest in global markets and international trade. Before joining HTRG, she was an analyst with Timber-Mart South where she wrote quarterly timber market newsletters and reported on structural changes within the timberland industry. Tim Cayen, Director of Business Development, is responsible for marketing and new business development for the Hancock Timber Resource Group. In addition, he is directly involved in account management and client relations for individually managed accounts. In this role, he works directly with clients to develop and implement investment strategies including evaluation of portfolio, acquisition and disposition opportunities. Prior to his account management position, Tim was an analyst with Hancock Timber where he conducted acquisition and disposition analyses for client portfolios. Before joining the group, Tim was a forest analyst with George Banzhaf & Company, a nationally recognized forestry consulting firm, where he was directly involved in timberland valuation, wood supply analysis and timber inventory. Daniel P. Christensen, Chief Executive Officer, Hancock Natural Resource Group, and President of Hancock Timber Resource Group, is responsible for the overall operation and growth of the business. Prior to this role, Dan was President and Chief Operating Officer of Hancock Timber Resource Group. Dan is chairman and CEO of Hancock Forest Management, and Hancock Forest Management New Zealand, chairman of Hancock Natural Resource Group Australia, Hancock Victorian Plantations, Tiaki Plantations Company, Taumata Plantations Limited, Tasman Bay Forest, Hancock Timberland VII, and Hancock Timberland VIII, chairman and president of Cahaba Forest LLC, White River Forests LLC, John Hancock Timber Resource Corporation, and Comox Timber Ltd. Dan is also a board member of Hancock Natural Resource Group, and a member of its Natural Resource Investment Committee. Before joining HTRG in 1992, Dan was vice president and general manager of a major forest products company in the US Northeast. Peter A. D'Anieri, CFA, Director and Senior Portfolio Manager, is responsible for client relations and account management for individually managed and pooled accounts. Peter is also responsible for evaluating portfolio performance and acquisition and disposition opportunities on behalf of clients. Prior to joining HTRG in 1991, he coordinated silvicultural research for a South-wide Cooperative supported by forest products companies. John Davis, Acquisition Manager, oversees timberland acquisition deal sourcing, due diligence and contract negotiations for timberland transactions for the Hancock Timber Resource Group. He is based out of the Group's office in Vancouver, Washington. Prior to joining HTRG in 1992, John was a vice president at TimberNet, Inc., a Pacific Northwest timberland marketing firm. His forestry experience includes serving as timberlands manager and investment officer for First Interstate Bank of Oregon's Agribusiness Department. Scott Estey, Director of Client Account Management, is responsible for account management and client relations for individually managed and pooled accounts. In this role, Scott evaluates portfolio performance, acquisition and disposition opportunities, and develops and implements investment strategies. Before joining HTRG, Scott was a principal consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers Management Consulting Services in their Forest and Paper Group. Prior to PwC, he was a senior vice president at Jaakko Pöyry Consulting, where he focused on strategy development, mergers and acquisitions, and capital project analysis within the forest products industry. Coleen M. Greenwood, Director of Client Reporting, is responsible for the accounting and reporting functions of the Hancock Timber Resource Group's separate account timberland investments. Prior to this role, she worked at John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company as senior accountant in charge of the agricultural and forestry real estate portfolios. Brent J. Keefer, Manager of Global Resource Information and Planning, is responsible for property management planning for all of Hancock Timber Resource Group's timberland holdings. In this role, Brent leads acquisition valuation and due diligence and provides oversight for Hancock Forest Management's resource support teams. Before joining HTRG in 1998, Mr. Keefer worked for Rayonier Inc. for ten years in the southeast U.S. developing and maintaining all forest resource information and planning systems. David Kimbrough, Manager of Land Sales and Asset Evaluation, is responsible for the daily management and execution of Hancock Timber Resource Group’s disposition and appraisal programs throughout North America. In this role, he helps customize and implement disposition strategies for each HTRG investor. David is also responsible for the assignment, review and reporting of all third-party appraisal work performed on the firm’s North American properties. Prior to his current position, David held positions in HTRG’s Forest Operations & Stewardship area as regional forester and operations coordinator. Before joining the firm in 1994, he worked with a timberland consulting firm in the South. Karl Kny, Managing Director, Hancock Natural Resource Group Australia, oversees the firm’s operations in Australia and New Zealand. Karl is also the Chief Operating Officer of Hancock Forest Management NZ and the Managing Director of Hancock Victorian Plantations. Previously, Karl worked as general manager, corporate development for Amcor, a large international forestry, pulp, paper and packaging group. Karl also worked as a consulting expert for Macquarie Bank where he advised on acquisitions and valuations in the forestry, pulp and paper sector. Karl joined Hancock Natural Resource Group in 1999 and has more than 20 years of experience in operations, acquisitions, planning and finance. He has worked for several large forest products and paper companies in Australasia and has international experience in Southeast Asia and Europe. John P. Lollis, Acquisition Manager, is responsible for managing the southern timberland acquisition efforts of the Hancock Timber Resource Group. Prior to serving in this role, John was a Client Account Manager, responsible for servicing the needs of both individually managed accounts and pooled fund accounts. Before joining the Group in 1987, he served as Senior Lending Officer and Assistant Vice President for Columbia Bank for Cooperatives. His forestry experience includes serving as land manager of Jordan Lumber Company and serving as the regional forester for HTRG's southern operations. William Marre, Northwest General Manager, Hancock Forest Management, oversees day-to-day property management operations on investor timberlands in the Pacific Northwest. Bill is based out of HFM’s office in Vancouver, Washington. Prior to joining the company in 2002, Bill was Director of Timberland Management at Olympic Resource Management. His 30 years of forest industry experience includes expertise in timberland management, log sales, silviculture, forest engineering and wood products. William K. J. McCallum, General Manager, Hancock Forest Management (New Zealand) Limited is responsible for operational management of investor timberlands in New Zealand. In this capacity, he is responsible for forest management, harvesting and distribution, sales and marketing and financial reporting. Prior to joining HFM NZ in 2004, Bill held positions in operations management, marketing and acquisitions with Fletcher Challenge Forests Limited in New Zealand and South America. He previously worked throughout Asia and the Pacific with an international forestry consulting firm. Bruce C. McKnight, Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer, oversees HTRG's operations worldwide. Previously, Bruce was Managing Director, Australasia, where he headed HTRG's investment management business in Australia and New Zealand. He has also held positions as President of Hancock Forest Management (HFM) and Director of Forest Operations and Stewardship for HTRG, responsible for property management, forest resource planning, policy development, risk management, appraisal review, acquisition support and analysis, and property dispositions. Bruce is a director of HFM and serves as Managing Director of Hancock Victorian Plantations in Australia. He is vice president of Cahaba Forest LLC, White River Forests LLC and John Hancock Timber Resource Corporation. Bruce is also a member of Hancock Natural Resource Group's Investment Committee. Prior to joining HTRG in 1997, Bruce was Managing Director of James River Timber Corporation, responsible for the company's $60 million Maine timberland operations. Michael Morgan, Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for the financial management of the firm, its subsidiaries and investment entities, and the accounting and reporting of client investments. In addition, he is responsible for arranging and managing debt financing and overseeing systems. Mike is also a current director of Hancock Victorian Plantations. Before joining HTRG, Mike served as Vice President of Finance for U.S. Timberlands where he was involved in taking the company public. Prior to that position, he worked as tax manager and assistant treasurer at Roseburg Forest Products. Mike also worked at Arthur Andersen where he was responsible for the development of tax strategies for numerous forest products clients. John T. Perda, CFA, Portfolio Manager, is responsible for developing and implementing client investment strategies, evaluating acquisition and disposition opportunities, evaluating portfolio performance, developing and implementing acquisition funding strategies, and managing all aspects of the client relationship. Prior to joining the Hancock Timber Resource Group, John was a senior consultant at Jaakko Poyry Consulting, where he focused on strategy development, capital project analysis, and asset valuation within the forest products industry. Michael Rivard, Director of Acquisitions, leads the Hancock Timber Resource Group's global acquisition sourcing efforts and is also responsible for the development of relationships with forest products companies. Before joining the firm, Mike served as Executive Director at UBS Timber Investors where he was portfolio manager for an international allocation from a large separate account client. Prior to that position, he participated in business development, fund structuring, portfolio management and acquisition sourcing in Latin America. He also managed a variety of domestic timberfunds. Previously, Mike served as chief executive officer of a privately held forest products company in Maine. Thomas Sarno, Southern Division General Manager, Hancock Forest Management, leads a team of professionals who provide forest management, acquisition and disposition services to Hancock Timber Resource Group clients. His responsibilities include forest management, wood marketing, asset management, regional public affairs, government and community relations, stewardship direction and fiduciary oversight for HTRG assets in the US South. Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Tom was a Procurement Manager for International Paper's Pensacola paper mill and McDavid sawmill enterprise. He has also served as Forest Operations Manager for Champion International Corporation. Wilfred Steiner, Director of International Finance, Hancock Natural Resource Group Australia, is responsible for international financial aspects of the business including coordinating financial work on international acquisitions and financial review of international operations. Previously he was the Chief Financial Officer of Hancock Natural Resource Group, Australia and was responsible the financial management of the firm’s business in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining the group in 2004, Wilfred was the Chief Financial Officer of companies involved in the retail and entertainment industries and had overall responsibility for financial, treasury and taxation aspects of the companies. Prior to these positions, he worked at Arthur Andersen where he had significant involvement with audit and corporate finance activities, including mergers/acquisitions and valuations. Courtland L. Washburn, Ph.D., Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer, is responsible for Hancock Timber Resource Group's equity capital raising, client account management, and investment strategy and research. Court is a leading expert on the application of financial economic models to forest assets and timberland companies. His research has been published in numerous economics, finance and forestry journals. Court began his career at HTRG in 1990. He is a director of Hancock Victorian Plantations and Tiaki Plantations, and a member of the HNRG Natural Resource Investment Committee. Kristen A. Welch, CFA, Portfolio Manager, is responsible for developing and implementing client investment strategies, evaluating acquisition and disposition opportunities, evaluating portfolio performance, developing and implementing acquisition funding strategies, and managing all aspects of the client relationship. Prior to joining the Hancock Timber Resource Group, Kristen was an Assistant Vice President at Wellington Management Company, where she focused on enhancing relationships with institutional clients and on the development and advancement of the business strategy for clients. Michael A. Wolf, Director of Forest Operations North America oversees forest operations and stewardship efforts on investor timberlands within North America. His responsibilities include oversight of Hancock Forest Management, forest operations, forest planning, stewardship and wood marketing. He is also responsible for regional public affairs, and government and community relations. Prior to joining Hancock Timber Resource Group in 1998, Mike was silviculture manager at Louisiana Pacific where he oversaw forest planning and silviculture management on 900,000 acres in Texas and Louisiana. Previously, he was a forest operations manager with James River and its predecessor, the American Can Company. Mike is a graduate of Stephen F.
